During the short time of our stay in China, it has already been opened. We probably did not immediately notice this construction., but on one of the trips to Beijing, we suddenly noticed, how the station is being built, boil beams and erect a frame over platforms, although the new station always towered over the old terminal.
And now the old train station is history, it was closed, till January 5, the cash desks will still work there.
Like this: today you are going to Beijing, folding things, you come out of habit on a familiar bus, and the old station is no longer working.
The new building has two floors, an electronic scoreboard hangs above the cash register, smaller station, but no worse than in Wuhan. But even more interesting, that due to the opening of a new road, another train station opened in Baoding (East). Our friends about it have not yet been able to tell us anything concrete and you can only get to it by car.. But the difference is 10 minutes, minus which the train of category D will get to Beijing faster (30-40 minutes, train speed 300 km / h), fully compensated by the location of the station.
Such incredible China - today you see a mountain or a forest on the map, and tomorrow this place is an incredibly huge city! Lightning speed and surprise - then, What we should learn from the Chinese, i.e., the pace and scale of construction.
