The oldest jazz festival in Europe (is carried out 1971 year), the second largest in the world. Annually, in may, here come the professional performers and jazz lovers from around the world, celebration lasts a week.
The city of Dresden is also called the capital of the old jazz, so as to come to the festival more 500 thousands of fans of this direction of music and more 350 famous musicians from more than 10 countries. Over the years, was visited by such jazz stars, as the Blue Wonder Jazzband, The Jackson Singers, Cynthia Sayer & Hot Jazz Group, Blue Wonder Jazzband, Mart Rodger’s Manchester Jazz, Steve Clayton, Pascal von Wroblewski, Dixieland messendzherz and other.
