In the "Night of Museums" almost all the city's museums, showrooms, Library, Galleries open their doors to visitors from six o'clock in the evening until six in the morning. Many of them organize special tours and exhibitions, quiz and presentation, master classes, and more. Most schools are open only 6 dinner to 23, remaining until the early hours. For the first time such an event was held in Berlin in 1997 year and was called “Long Night of Museums”. Next event was organized in France and later spread throughout the world.
